Really focus on a tight specific niche/product line. Why? Because most people don’t go online and type “computer website” into Google. No, they’re searching for a single product, (i.e. hard drives) so that’s what they type into the search engine. Be specific. How about another example?
A camera website?
No.
A SLR camera website?
No.
A DSLR D60 website?
YES! YES! YES! Create a website for each product that you promote. Use the sniper approach not the machine gun…it’s all about targeted marketing. Wave at them when they are looking for what you specialise in. Ok, so because people go online looking for specific items, you need to match your marketing activity to suit.
